We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our existing team as we undergo exciting change and development across our marketing activities.

Marketing & Events Coordinator Main Duties include: 

Events

  • Managing events on behalf of Partners for client entertainment; booking tables, coordinating diaries, issuing & managing invitations
  • Managing seminars; liaison with respective staff re presentations; using Client Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage invitations & responses; coordinate attendees & materials with 3rd party if appropriate; preparation of all event material (badges, flyers etc), load details onto website & manage social media activity about it
  • Use CRM system to monitor all event activity including attendees and opportunities which come out from it 

Admin

  • Organising and updating brochures, promotional merchandising, newsletters for both content and brand consistency
  • Awareness of budget limits, logging all costs and liaising with finance to reconcile the budget
  • Manage stocks of branded merchandising including identifying and managing suppliers; overseeing branding application and managing related budgets 

Design

  • Liaising with the external design team to ensure deadlines and requirements are met
  • Assisting with + distributing email campaigns including management of mailing lists and analysis of data on our CRM system
  • Preparation & support for proposals including formatting, sourcing information and collation of documents

Other

  • Assisting in our general marketing activities
  • Attending networking events and representing the Firm

Person Specification

Education/Qualifications:

  • Educated to A level / Degree level with a willingness to study as required

Key Skills:

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work to challenging deadlines and manage changing priorities, with flexibility where needed
  • Ideally 24 months experience in a marketing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good knowledge of Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Experience of Email Communication systems
  • Experience and confidence using current social media platforms
  • Understanding of and experience in basic HTML
  • Professional attitude to work, self-motivated with a desire to complete tasks and be proactive
  • Technically astute
  • Confidentiality and trustworthiness
