We have an opportunity for a qualified Audit Senior to join our Audit team (based at either our York or Leeds office).  Candidates must have Practice and Audit experience and be fully ACA or ACCA qualified.

Audit Senior main duties include:

  • Audit duties including;
    • Planning, delivering and completing of audit for businesses and groups across all industries up to c£70m turnover under the guidance of the audit senior and/or manager/partner
    • Scrutinise client records and document findings in a clear and concise manner for conclusion
    • Liaison with client staff as well as audit team and wider firm
    • Retain responsibility for own work and that of audit juniors
    • On site training and development of junior staff throughout the audit
  • Manage multiple tasks with different managers whilst having an awareness of deadlines
  • Preparation of statutory accounts from client records
  • Completion of corporation tax computations including ixbrl tagging submissions

Person specification:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified

  • Familiarity of Microsoft Office packages in particular Excel

  • Flexibility as travel to client offices is required, together with overtime and occasional overnight stays
