Garbutt + Elliott Promotes New Director
Garbutt + Elliott are pleased to announce the promotion of Laura Masheder to a director role.
Laura, a specialist in the charities and not-for-profit accountancy sector, joined the firm’s York office in 2003 as a trainee. During her time at the practice Laura also received the prestigious Diploma in Charity Accounting (DChA), recognising her expertise in the sector.
In her new role Laura will utilise her vast experience gained from working closely with charities to further expand the firm’s offering together with partners Alan Sidebottom and Nigel Shaw.
Commenting on Laura’s promotion, Russell Turner, managing partner of Garbutt + Elliott, said: “Laura is passionate about working with charities and delivering excellent service. Commenting on her appointment, Laura said: “I am delighted to be appointed as a director. I was recruited as a graduate trainee and, after qualifying with Garbutt + Elliott, they continued to invest in my personal development including bespoke courses at York University and the ICAEW.
