Brexit – Operating in the new norm
The New Year brings change and many business owners are now operating in a new environment for international trade. As many of us are trying to adapt to these changes and work out how to navigate the post Brexit landscape, we wanted to bring you ‘Brexit: Operating in the new norm’ – our final webinar as part of our joint Gearing up for Brexit series with International law firm Mills & Reeve.
This webinar will give guidance and support through informative updates for businesses and business owners during this crucial time.
In this session, Alex Kenworthy will provide a high-level overview and summary of the deal, including what the deal means for business in terms of the movement of goods, services and people.
Garbutt + Elliott will be providing an update on the key tax issues affecting businesses post Brexit, including the importance of the origin rules for Customs Duty, an update on VAT implications when trading with the EU (particularly in respect of e-commerce and digital services) and the state of play with trade with Northern Ireland.
The CBI will also be joining us to share business views in response to leaving the EU as well as ongoing developments shaping the emerging priorities for business in 2021.
