Our specialist VAT Consultant Jane Roffey has over twenty five years of experience both working at HM Revenue & Customs and also at ‘big 4’ firms. She is a Chartered Tax Advisor and has extensive experience in all areas of VAT.

Recent projects include:

• Successfully challenging an HMRC assessment resulting in a significant reduction of the amount payable.
• Negotiating a Partial Exemption Special Method resulting in ongoing annual VAT savings.
• Assisting a Not for Profit organisation with a methodology for dealing with both business and non-business activities, resulting in significant one-off and ongoing VAT savings.
• Minimising the claw back of VAT for house builders when letting properties originally built for sale.
