Nigel Shaw is the Director in charge of Trusts and Capital taxes planning and has considerable experience in Inheritance Tax and Will planning and in all aspects of trusts planning.

Nigel also acts as an independent Trustee for many families and individuals holding assets as diverse as family company shares to works of art. Nigel is involved in the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is a past chairman of the Yorkshire Branch.

Robert Peel

Robert Peel is Senior Manager and also has considerable experience in advising clients on Inheritance Tax and Wills and the use of Trusts in Capital Taxes planning. Working closely with Nigel, Robert is involved in Inheritance Tax and Will planning and also has overall responsibility for the day-to-day trust administration and compliance issues for the team's many clients as well as dealing with Inheritance Tax Returns for both individuals and Trusts.

Laura Tacey

Laura Tacey is a Trust Senior and deals with the day-to-day administration and compliance matters. She also deals with the investment aspects of our Trust work and liaises with stockbrokers who handle the funds under management. She is involved in capital gains tax transactions for clients and is responsible for the internal administration matters for the team.
