Enter your Family Business for The Press Business Awards 2009

Once again Garbutt & Elliott are sponsors of the Press Business Awards 2009, and for the second year running we are sponsoring the Family Business of the Year category. Entering the awards is an excellent opportunity to promote and celebrate the achievements of your Family Business.

The Family Business Of The Year category is open to all established family businesses based in the circulation area of The Press, radiating from York to the North York Moors in the north; and from Whitby, Scarborough and Bridlington in the east, across to Harrogate in the west.

Entrants should describe how they have successfully moved the business forward in the preceding 12 months. The judges will be looking for examples of good practice and possibly learning experiences that can inspire and encourage other family businesses to succeed in these difficult times.

The glittering final will be held at The Voltigeur Suite in the Knavesmire Stand at York Racecourse on Thursday, November 26, 2009. The awards will be hosted by BBC presenter Colin Hazelden, and the guest speaker for the evening will be Judith Donovan CBE.
